Fitting Coilovers Tonight (Hopefullly)

Hey thanks to Khare my new (used) coilovers should be here today i Just want to know do i need any special tools is there a quick method i am also changing front top mounts to powerflex bushes new nuts and new bearings.

The suspension has been changed/tampered with previously so hoping no stuck rusty bolts is there anything i should know about this swap????

sounds like you have it all covered, just remember to copper ease the f**k out of the threaded shock body to avoid the lock rings seizing. and before you loosen off the camber bolts / shock bolts to hub, score where the shock meets the hub with a screw driver / Stanley knife / mark with tippex pen so you know where to put the new shock so the camber of your wheel isn't out. and get your tracking / camber angles checked after

So can you adjust the rear camber this way for more negative camber?

Ok i have a 4 wheel alignment machine at work il get it on that next few days once suspension has settled thank you for quick reply will post photos when done.

could take more than a few days to settle, mine took almost 2 weeks. to adjusted the rear camber its done though spacing the lower half of the hub out, using camber shims, do a quick search

Well only if my tracking is out i will get tracking done sooner rather than later but if it drives ok i will leave it for a week before i do the alignment.

sweet, mines a daily and used it for around a 30mile commute = whatever in the evening, saying that thou, mine are cheap crap

well my journey to work is  0.8 miles i live on same road very handy if i low on fuel just get on my bike but saying that i drive to work everyday  :whistle:
