KERBSIDE MIRROR SETTING

Well after setting up almost everything ,can't set the Kerbside Mirror View to work in reverse , ,nor can a VW senior
Techo or a few people In between . 
Not sure if it's related to extras fitted or what !!!!  Tech Request sent to VW  unless anyone has had the same
problem ,with DSG/ Rear Camera / Keyless / and the other bits !!! would love to hear if anyone is the same

I believe it has something to do with the electric mirror adjustment switch?  Have you tried setting it so a mirror is selected (i.e. as if you were about to adjust the mirror's position) whilst reversing?

It needs to be on L.

On L when reversing , think we covered that ,but I will check again ,thanks .

If you haven't already then try setting it.

Put car into reverse, move L mirror to required position.
Leave mirror setting on L.
It should reset when you drive forwards at a certain speed.

Mine hardly moved when I first got it, like you I thought it wasn't working.

A bit more help if I may -
You also need to go into the infotainment system in settings to tick the box so that the left hand mirror obeys the command

Mine was the same when I got it until I found out you set the mirror where you want it to be when you reverse

When I got my car some joker set mine to point up the way at the sky when I selected reverse 
Initially I thought it was broke but after figuring out how it works, I soon sorted it.
