Where to start before Map ?

Purchased a Golf Gti Y Reg 1.8t I want to get this Mapped at Rtech but need to have my car running spot on to do that but don't know what I need to do/change? any help would be great thanks

Main thing you need to do is getthe car scanned and make sure there is no error codes. If tou have codes mostly likely will be 17705 this is a boost leak and beileve me its a pain to find.
If you havent got any codes id personally advise at a bare minimum you change you diverter valve for an upgraded one id advise ether a forge 007p or a forge 008.
If you wanted to be extra safe id upgrade  all your boost pipes to silicone to avoid any possible splits. :)

I wouldn't worry about getting a new DV, I read on Nikki at Rtechs fb page that the standard one is more then capable
