K & N Air filter?

Hello Golf Owners  :grin:

Just needing some quick advice im doing my first car service on Sunday, im buying my oil n fuel filter from
uni parts today was just wondering is it worth the extra money to buy a k & n air filter or does it not make much difference? Also will be changing the oil, checking brake fluid etc anything else anyone could recomend i should check?  :smiley:

you should get a pipercross panel filter
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

As above,  I have a pipercross panel filter. Better MPG and they have a lifetime warranty

id go piperx over k&n

though either should be fine.

also check the service book, tells you each thing that needs doing in each service

Pipercross foam is the best bet, K & N is oiled and will lead to maf problems.
