Glad you posted that, wasn't aware of that thread either!  I can't believe how common this issue is... its not like the dealer has much to do in the PDI, and this is not a hard job.  Remove the blocks and tick the box to say you did it.  Then they wonder why their customers get so annoyed or act like they aren't trustworthy! :rolleyes:

Also if they say they've done the PDI, yet this part clearly has not been done it casts doubt on everything else they say they've done.

Not quite sure how its going to work out on Sat. They are replacing the shock mounts first...

Thanks so much to everyone for all the valuable info on the shipping spacer problem.  I also remember this problem years ago with another manufacturer - can't believe its still going on...

In light of this I will now be scheduling my own independent PDI on the dealer's lift - and while I'm at it an inspection of the inside of the wheels and tyres...nerd:).  No intention of taking ownership of pre-existing cockups if it can be avoided...
GTD + 3 pedals :-)
