Hi, having spent most of my working life in car plants, the check points are probably tracking points associated with the build process... typically these are Launch into Body in White (welding the shell), Into Paint, Out of Paint, Onto Assembly, Off Assembly (or off tracks), Customer Acceptance (Final Inspection), Pass to Sales . I know there are only 7 points on here, but these are the main process steps in any car assembly point. Therefore, if yours has just gone past step one, the body is being welded and on its way to paint..! The biggest challenge for any car plant is keeping the build sequence through the paint shop. (I have run paint plants at Land Rover and Aston Martin

) so once you are through paint, you should be on a home run .... Hope this helps
