Anyone running 15mm rear spacers?
« on: 26 September 2013, 07:20 »
As per title, I'm looking to change my rear 20mm spacers for 15mm. I'm already running 15mm on the front and tried them on the rear but they don't sit flush with the hub, I had the same issue on my mk3.

Anyone got a link to, or brand of any 15mm spacers that fit on the rear?

I think the issue is down to if its running non genuine rear discs as i also discovered on my mk3 after trying a couple of sets of 15mm's before just chucking the 20mm's back on.

I'm running 15mm FK rear spacers which are bolt on versions. I had to get the standard wheel bolts machined down so they didn't bottom out on the hub when tightening them

I'm using 15mm on the rear and if you take the cover cap off the hub (one in the centre)  the spacer will then sit flush

And also allow the ingress of dirt and water into the wheel bearing.

am i missing something here? spacers that fit the front but not rear?

I previously ran 15mm spacers on the front with no problems.

but swapped them for 20mm and used the 15mm for the rear when i put new set of wheels on.

And now i've got steering wheel wobble.
