Longest couple of weeks ever, starting now ;)

Found out today that I can't even get a quote for the change in insurance until 30 days prior to the change so I will have to wait another 10 days to do that.. all for just 12 days cover until my new policy starts!

Has anyone's tracker ticked over to build in progress yet? I was scheduled to be bw45 so I believe I'm going to be the arse end of the week before anything changes

No worries. The tracker does have a mind of its own, so who knows what will be!

Yeah I think getting your dealer to give you updates from his VW software - with it's 20 stage progress indicator during build - is going to keep you sane, the tracker is more of a placebo if you ask me.

Placed order..well I cant even remember exactly but start of July, dealer confirms BW 45 then changed to BW44, dealer told me get ready to receive your my car end of Nov!!!
Called VWUK they went an extra mile checked with factory came back and said your car should be delivered by xmas, told them that date changes and no confirmation on tracker is getting me worried and really feel like cancelling my order as all I keep doing is adding an extra and its getting further away from my original order spec, ive even ordered bits of the ABT kit from Germany ....VWUK will be supplying me with a courtesy car in 2 weeks time until my car arrives which I have been told is very unlikely this year due to Xmas holidays.
The positives:  I have heard that after bw45 the car will have updated software and few different things like folding side mirrors.
Newer reg
driving a free car
Able to get confirmation that my car will have reversing camera.
Negatives: Losing focus and cost has increased, hate driving my car as feel I should be in a GTD!!!!
From a Pulsar GTIR, MK4 Golf 1.8t, BMW 1series, BMW 330, Merc C280, A3 TDi, A4 2.0t Quattro...on order Mk7 T/Red GTD nav/pan roof/dynoaudio and ABT headlight brow BW44!

I really cant see how someone has ordered in Mid August and car is being delivered to them start of Nov....from what VWUK manager  told me and they did take 2 days to get back to me ( so I presuming, they had a good chat with the factory) that they have managed to get my order prioritized: sounds empowering but actually just bulltihs,
and how they just offered me a courtesy vehicle..... I feel the only reason they did all this is because my car is going to be delayed, I can not see them offering me a courtesy car ( I didn't even request 1 nor raise a complaint) if they are expecting my car to be on time or even a week or 2 late.....I just hope I don't get a call from the dealership telling me my car has arrived and there's 6 inchs of snow packed on the roads!!!
