BW 36... NEED HELP, Please

Hi All,

My car was scheduled to be built in BW 36 but as seems to be common now it still has not even been started and we are nearly at the end of BW 37.
I have been on with VW UK and give me a serious ear bashing last Friday and again on Tuesday and now my case is being looked at by 'Case Manager' who has promised an update call by tomorrow!
The last person who called me on Tuesday past give me some bull**1t about the rear view camera causing the delay which we all know it a load of rubbish. I said I would get order numbers for cars already in the UK/built with cameras to prove to her.

Therefore, would anyone who has ordered a car, and either taken delivery or car in transit, be good to PM/email me their order numbers so I can line the next shot up for whatever muppet rings me tomorrow.

My order is as follows:

Ordered 28th March...
GTD, Tornado Red, DSG, Leather, Rear View Camera and Keyless

Anyone with a rear view camera on their car and is willing to give me their order number I would be most grateful.

Mine was build week 36 and has the rear view camera and it is in transit. Mines Pure White though and not red so maybe thats the hold up. I'll give you my order number once ive got my car just in case VW take the hump.

The rear view cam is nonsense mate, im a bw36 and mine is still showing as being build in progress , I thought i had added a rear cam to my order but i was mistaken and i missed that option out... so i dont know whats causing the delays...

Not gone for the camera mate but I do have the leather option like yours, I think they have to go out in the fields for the cow hides, mine was 26 days Build In Progress

I don't know why but that tickled me the right way. I almost pictured some guy in a suit running through the factory waving his hands in the air while screaming it.

The factory is certainly running way behind.  I always thought that once you had a confirmed build slot then it was set it stone.  My car (with rear view camera) was due to be built week commencing 25th August and the build only completed on Tuesday (10th September).

Never in nearly 6 years have I had cars not built when it has a confirmed build week, all because of the week 30-33 balls up.

It's also happened with polo 5 door cars in South Africa. Industrial action which we have only just been told about that happened 5 weeks ago.....
