Never in nearly 6 years have I had cars not built when it has a confirmed build week, all because of the week 30-33 balls up.

It's also happened with polo 5 door cars in South Africa. Industrial action which we have only just been told about that happened 5 weeks ago.....

Sorry pal, but what balls up are you referring to? Was it the scheduled shutdown backlog, the rear camera debacle, the hail storm damage, the unexpected popularity of these models or some other 'act of god' that vw were unable to factor.

Obviously only one of the above is a real excuse!  :rolleyes:
On order - MK7 GTD, 5dr, DBP, Manual.
Est. Delivery was end Nov, now 3rd Jan ffs

That's not an excuse though. The factory shut down is the same time every year, so balls up or not's not an acceptable reason for delays as it was a planned closure.
