It's a 15" one. Bit of an impulse buy of ebay. Looks nice though and is in mint condition.

Bit of an update with today's efforts.
First job was to spray the dash speedo surround.

After.

Not a brill job but don't think I rubbed it down enough before spraying.

Pic of the door handle I fitted yesterday.

Next job was to Finnish off fitting the arial. Turns out it had a bee sting arial fitted at some point in its life, I assume from factory but somebody thought a wing arial would look better

This turned up in the post

Boot seal, it did not have one and there was a bit of a puddle in the boot with all the rain we've been having, 20mins later sorted

Thought I would give the seat belts a bit of a wash as they were looking a bit grubby with all the work that's been going on. Bit of a makeshift drying method

Got a leak on the drivers side door because of a fooked  outer window scrapper. Well I think that's what it's called, if anybody could confirm?

Last job of the day was to give the car a wash and a couple of coats of wax. Few pics

Going away tomorrow so no progress is going to be made over next couple of days. Going to santpod
So will get a few pics up of the day when I get back. Thanks for looking.

Well we set off yesterday for are hundred mile journey to stop the nite at Peterborough ready for today's run down to santpod.

Pic before we set off

Got up this morning and weather was not great had been pissing it down all day so was very wet. Got there and they were drying the track out for about 4 hours
Anyway finally got running and was a good day.

Few pics of the day

Couple of guys flying the flag for the old school vw's

On the strip

And my favourite pics of the day

What these 2 pics don't show is the GTR pissing all over me half way down the track

Did 3 runs in total the best one being 13.6 at 103mph. Not bad did not really no what to expect.

Anyway next post will be vw related

While I was away had a couple of deliveries.

So today's jobs are.

Fit new steering wheel

Fit seats back in ready for work tomorrow

Fit new seal on one of rear lights as it seems to have a bit of a leak

Loosely put dash back together
