I followed that same guide and its pretty straight forward and worth doing... but then I ended up doing the ultimate delete to get rid of even more junk and its fine!!! (I got an ARZ too!!)

2000 GTI 1.8t ARZ, S2000 filter, DSG intake, Forge 007 dv, Catch can, R-tech custom remap, 3" Supersize Silicone TIP, Powerflex dog bone, 'The Beast' FMIC, Ultimate delete, LCR fuel pump, 3" Turbo back, K03 hybrid, Ported Manifold, S3 injectors, 80mm maf = 280bhp 270lbft

I also did the deletes, no issues whatsoever, I actually think it made the car feel better, maybe a placebo as you're more than likely just removing old broken crap anyway
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

I have mixed views since I did the N249 bypass. Yeah, in gerneral, the car the feels better and a bit more responsive, specially in second gear. However, when giving it a roast from 3rd to 5th, the turbo sometimes likes to stall then pick up again.

Thinking I might be need a new DV, even though the standard one sounds and looks good this now.

I done the bypass and so far I haven't had any regrets, I can hear the turbo whistle more and it also boosts abut more with less lag and smooth threw the revs

Does the agu have this? Also what else can you delete from the agu apart from the carbon canister?
