Hey guys

does anyone know how to replace the batteries on the mk4 key fob?????

It can be done. You need a tiny screwdriver to prise it apart. Can't remember whereabouts off the the of my head and I havent got my keys on me to have a look.....

Reading that back I'm not much help!!

I think you prise it apart from the key ring end, just use the screwdriver to lift it up and and it should just slide apart.

Look at the end with the key ring and you should see where both sides of the key fob meet. Using a small flatheaded screwdriver gently push up one side. THis should slide back part of the key fob.  Then just pull it apart!! Hope that helps. Sorry I aint got any pics to go with it

just get your battery from the dealer and they'll fit it for you :grin:
