I need help with a issue on a auq 1.8 180 on tickover it seems to be ok then it seems to hesitate then ticks over then does it again?? it also seems to feel like its holding back on full throttle? if I put my food down it holds back slightly then as I let off the throttle it picks up?? and also I have found some oil from the turbo to the intercooler on the pipe leading to the pancake pipe could it be a seal??

any help would be great guys as ive lost my touch now lol also no codes on vagcom

Hey buddy I had the oil coming from that pipe so I ended up getting the agu charge pipe that way it's not clipped in, it has a jubilee instead ;)

Yep they turn to mush!
Standard issue with a golf of this age!
Just go on eBay and search for auq and some silicone breather pipes will come up!
I also think forge have them now.

AUM/AUQ charge pipe connection is dog turd and massively prone to leaking

Get a AGU charge pipe and I strongly recommend getting a Samco turbo outlet hose with good strong clips or clamps, hose is much tigher then the OE no chance of it slipping off.
