@MM087' get the options you want and can afford, including paint colour, be asking on an enthusiastic forum will net you every possible answer.  The way I see it is this...   I spend more time actually sat inside and driving my car compared to stood staring at it.  Nor did I buy it to please other people so they have something to gawp at.  I based my options on those facts, so they centre around interior comfort and convenience.

Is dual zone climate not standard then? I'm light on options as mine is a company car and the only thing they pay for is the metallic/pearlescent paint. Good job I chose DPB as it will look great in the snow  :whistle:

Yes it is, precisely why I asked if he'd have it switched off in the winter to not be a wuss!  :grin:

Hmmm, not sure about DBP looking great in the snow - that means muddy slushy roads, makes even a white car tough to keep clean, let alone black!  I know what you meant though, it'll stand out against the white background ;)

You are all a bunch of "soft sh!tes". This is my ride until the Golf turns up in a couple of months.
No Air con, central locking, electric windows...it doesn't even have a blower.

The heating runs off the exhaust and the only fan in the whole car is the cooling fan on the engine. The only way to clear the windscreen in the winter is to drive faster.... :laugh:

Also I counted the number of buttons and switches in the whole car, there are 13 including the radio and the interior light switches (I know it's a bit posh)

The golf has 19 (I think) on the steering wheel alone.
