Exactly, the reversing camera is precisely that, not just for parking.  It will be useful for any situation when you are going backwards.  For parking though, the camera with the sensors is all I wanted.  I've been in cars that park themselves and while it's cool, and it works, it also unnerves me and isn't something I'd use much, although for the money it's cheap enough.

The only reason I have specced park assist is because in the grand scheme of things the cost is bugger all.  Never had a car with it and not sure how much I would use it.  Reverse cam is pretty much bugger all cost wise as well but I can see this being something that would be handy to have for safety aspects.  Again never had a car with it yet.

Don't get yourself too hung up on the options or you will be thinking about them every day... It will drive you mad.
The cars pretty damn good as standard so try to think of any extras as a luxury non essential gadget that you may never use but is there should you need it.

Exactly!  It's easy to go mad when choosing them too, so I basically added stuff that I knew I definitely wanted, or knew I would use/appreciate.  No second thoughts here, certainly not after seeing my car for the first time today...that thing doesn't need any gadgets just the way it sits on the road!

GTD 3dr Manual
Pure White
Santiago Alloys - Essential as they look R8' ish
Discovery Nav - Essential for work
DynaAudio - Lots of driving = Lots of listening to Radio / SD Card
Park Assist - I like my Gadgets and it looks cool, and cheap so may as well have it !

Keyless Entry - Not Essential but I like the look of the Stop/Start Button.
Winter Pack - Not Essential - But may be worth it for the Heated Seats and Washer Jets

Service Plan - Defo worth it at £199 !

Have you considered DSG, 5dr, Oryx, sunroof, nav pro, and the camera ??

Only joking, just order the bloody thing and put us out of our (and your) misery.

The keyless option is the one I am most happy with. It adds a nice premium effect to the car. Not having to fanny about with the key to get in and start the damn thing is so pleasing. Would recommend this as an option over anything else.
