Hi,   
    I was just curious what kind of discounts you guys have been offered etc on the MK7 GTI/GTD ? I am looking to order one but I am in a catch 22 situation at the minute, been offered a good deal but no car until March whereas others have offered me £1.00 discount but can get me a car for November. ha

I am looking at:

MK7 GTD 3rd Manual
Oryx White
Santiago Alloys
Discovery Nav
DynaAudio
Park Assist
Keyless Entry
Winter Pack
Service Plan

It's reasonably easy to get 5-8% from most dealers, some have had up to 12%.

One of the Inscape Dealers offered a discount of £1.00 and that is all they felt they had to offer. ha

£3,500 discount and free servicing...helps when your old mans best mates with a lad at the Group  :rolleyes:

No joke, had to fight tooth and nail for it though! My mates getting a GTI and he told me that the dealer had mentioned that he could put it through as a demo and then sell it to him the day after, so therefore selling it on as a demo even though it was only a day old?! Dont ask dont get

You would need to pay cash or personal finance on it. You wont get a good VW finance deal on a demo.

What possible benefit is there to ordering it as a demo?  There must be something or why would the dealer do it?

Does it jump the order queue?  Seems unlikely that it could be offered with bigger discount as I understood the dealers had to pay VW full whack for the demos!

I suppose they might have separate allocation for demos and customer orders.  Perhaps the dealer has filled all his customer slots but can still take a demo?
