that is more or less the ramp i bought ( but without the H frame )   the ramps desinged for the h frames are diffrent as the H frame is about 50 mm thick so the baseplates are going to be ether 50 mm further up the posts or the arms kinked by 50mm more, ether way i think it was 200 quid for the H frame " upgrade "  for what the H frame looks like i felt a bit done as it would be easy to copy / desing and do for a lot less money  but there must be a differance in the ramp to loose the extra 50 mm.  and delivery is enough as well i think that was about a ton

so all up i think mine was £1800,   yoou can get the cheeper with mecanical safty locks but you really really dont want those you have to walk round to the other side every time you want to disengadge them, in practice you'll get that pissed off witht them you won't engadge them after about a a week so there is no point them being there.  with the leccy ones at least you just press a button

looking at the golf  i recon you have enough hight above it to go full hight.

i count 10 concret blocks thats  90"  or 2.25 meters   minumum  IIRC   and lift is going to go about 1.9 meters so should go  you'll need to measure tho.

have you taken into account the height of the car?

taken from the centre of the room i count 14 blocks = 3150mm

Very approx height of car = 1.5m (i googled but couldn't find it)

height below car to work = 3150 - 1500 = 1650

I guess it just about fits but if you're more than 5.5ft tall, you're gonna be hunched up working under the car.

if you do need to re do the concrete base perhaps you could dig yourself a trench to compensate for the lack of height

If you are breaking out concrete why not make a pit instead! Far cheaper!
