new here :)
« on: 14 August 2013, 21:50 »
Hello guys
So iv been driving volkswagens since i got my licence, had a couple of polos mainly mk2/3s.
always been a fan of the mk4 and now finally Rfn_hodgson has converted me to the golf and i now have one of my own(when its back on the road!)
I bought his 150 gt tdi and we are currently in the process of getting it repaired, it suffered a cam belt tensioner fail and that wrote the head and the cam off, finnaly got a new head ready to go with new cams and belt kits just waiting for it fitted.
Previous cars iv owned have always been modified, nothing major only body work alloys suspension etc, I think the main thing that has attracted me to get a mk4 is the massive range of mods available.
Looking forward to getting some work done and ill keep you all updated on my progress with "Lexi".

Defiantly going to need advice and guidance so thank-you in advance.
Looking forward to this new project!
