I've seen a genuine worked out with maths 10% improvement in fuel economy from my Passat 140 CR DSG when driven normally. Use the extra performance and obviously it will use more fuel.

overall it ends up being the same, you see an increase in pootling, however, tend to use the added oomph a bit more
i would be expecting mpg miracles on a 35
