Takes ages. I did it in steps as I did it around work.

Shizzle, pm me your number as I'm going to take a few snaps of the headliner

Did mine a little while ago, the high temp glue is the one to go for! No issues at all.

Take your time and if you have access to another pair of hands it will make the job easier, get them to hold the fabric out the way as you work your way forward/backwards.

I also left mine overnight to give it plenty of time to dry and have not had a single issue, just need to sort my grab handles out!

Will see if I have the pics of our progress

You don't need high temp glue. Wickes contact adhesive is very good. It's not a spray though. Takes longer but mine hasn't moved. Black car attracts heat and we had some hot days this year.

You have to make sure you leave the glue to go tacky before sticking down. That's the key. Otherwise the solvents don't release properly

Ok so have we come to a conclusion in what glue to use? And weather it should be spray or brush on?
Im thinking about doing mine again as it has started to sag at the back. Looks ugly and is p!ssing me of now. I used suede material no backing.
Loads of people are asking which glue to use.
So when did you do you head lining?
What glue did you use?
And links will be good.
I know tshirt has done his some time ago. So thats a starting point.

I was wondering if anyone had come across a syring-able type glue as there are a few localised sagging bits of material on my estate which dont warrant the hassle of a full retrim?

When mine done that I just put a staple gun round the roof lining works a treat and never fell down again

I REALLY don't want staples scattered all over the central section of my roof!
I was thinking a sharp syringe with glue in could carefully pierce through the material and gently leave glue behind it...in theory anyway.
