High temp contact glue like trim fix will do the job. I used two cans to do mine but ideally should have used three two was a cutting it a bit fine.

When I done mine with high temp glue was last summer.  Since having a few hot days the lining dropped , anyways the best solution without takin it out again was a staple gun worked a treat never dropped since :)

how easy to take the plastic bits off? Thinking about just sorucing an interior then painting/ retrimming then swap over? then sell old one on?

Even high temp stuff won't stick very well if it hasn't been applied properly.

It has to be left for a few mins to go tacky 1st, and apply to both sides.

I did this year's back. After one failed attempt I got another liner and used acoustic carpet and a tin of glue which brushed on. Check my old thread it might help:

I got hold of black pillars and black visors.  Looked very slick and minimal  :smiley:
