GTI - First batch issues?

I certainly hope there's no issues as apparently mine is arriving at the dealeship tomorrow  . Hopefully will collect on Monday.

Will do pal! I've definitely been very fortunate with my order with it taking about 11 weeks from order to collection. The funny thing is that the tracker is still showing in transit so it's clearly not being updated on a regular basis.

Sod's law that im off work this week but I'm away up North tomorrow so not going to get to see it tomorrow. However I have asked the dealer to email me some pics and ill post them on here

. I waited a year after launch for a 6 so hoped any issues would be sorted out by then but I did not quite wait long enough.
. Won't make the same mistake for a 7.

I got the 5 year warranty.  What does that tell you?

Lots of new kit on the mk7.  Changes to engine and DSG, new chassis, lots of new electric gizmos... hopefully no issues.  Never had a problem with my current car despite it being an early batch it sails through each service.  Hoping for the same with my GTI

Probably we haven't got enough in the country to know about any issues yet.  Give it a year.

Depends on the driver, but I would hazard a guess less warranty claims on the manual than the dsg !

If I have gearbox problems it will be my last VW !

I did a youtube search for mk7 problems.
Only thing so far is wipers are crap
Seat issues
Did find his about older VWs which i liked his style.
