Cool, Think will go with rear lights instead then, will I still get fault with genuine rear's?

Where do you buy vagcom from and is it straightforward?

I wasn't that fussed about the LED's on the front, I just have Xenons. The rear LED lights would be my choice as they really improve the look of the car and aren't a ball ache like the Xenon retrofit is.

Installation on my 59 plate brought a bulb defect light which I had coded out while my car was in the garage for something else.

VCDS will set you back about £250 including a cable so unless you plan to use it regularly then maybe just take it to a garage or find someone with VCDS on the forum who might do it for a small fee.

You can buy VCDS from Ilexa and some other places on the internet.

Thanks for info

Yeh think will just stick to rear lights, will improve the look a lot.

will just take to local garage and get fault removed ,to much cost just for odd thing I require software for.

Take it somewhere where they know VAG coding if you can...an unfamiliar garage may go wut?
