Had a little to-do with a chap at work, we usually have a bit of banter (im ok with banter) But today he crossed a line.
Was saying wholly inappropriate things about what he got up to with my 3 year old - obviously false, but dangerous ground to trod if you ask me.
Now i saw red and put him in his place, with a few choice questions and an offer to settle it less civilly.
I'm a bit worried as this exchance was witnessed by about 6 staff, but quite likely in earshot of at least a couple of senior members of staff.
Where do i stand in offering to slap him, is the subject a mitigating circumstance, or have i made a big error in threatening him?
TBF i cant see what i done wrong - whats the legal implications
