I thought last night's episode was much better. No stupid explosions for one.
The 4C, looks great, and despite having it in the studio, they didn't put it around the track, but that maybe because it was so wet. But again, no real conclusion as to how good it was.
The quad bike - as soon as Clarkson turned up, you knew it was going to be something special and I do like the races, so I wasn't unhappy about that. But why was Clarkson not wearing a helmet or the right clothing for the water (or even a life-jacket)? BBC health and safety will have definitely demanded appropriate precautions be taken.
The star in the RPC. Who? I've no idea who he was. The interview was ok, but showing a full length Jaguar advert is a bit off for the Beeb.
The P1, awesome. But again, it was in the studio yet no timed lap. Maybe they'll do them when it's dry.
I was actually quite interested in the military vehicles section. Top Gear does seem to have great respect for the military, so it wasn't that suprising. It did highlight how much money was a) spent in Afghanistan and b) how much it's costing to withdraw from Afghanistan and bring back all the hardware.
Lets hope this improvement continues and episode 3 is better than this.
