Carbon Grey looks great and really classy

Candy white looks great and i a bit more fun but not as classy.

Depends how you want to be seen as - and mainly which one you like the most

Carbon Grey is the best.

However I prefer Steel Grey! Looks good and easy to look after.

Where i stay there are not alot of Gti's going about. saying that there are a few Gtd's in Carbon grey and candy white.
I do like a clean motor and look after them, I'v never had a White motor so when I see a candy white Gti to me it looks the Dogs!!!

The Tornado Red, do they have the same effect as the old Vx Nova's when the red paint fades in the sun after a couple of years?....( I know I should not compare VX to VW...Sorry!!).....but it was a little thought that flashed into my head  :embarrassed:

If there is any chance of you guys up loading some photos of your Gti's which might help me decide on which way to go

Regards
Doug

I know what people mean about certain colours being popular, fortunately iv not seen any other cw gti's in my area just one red and a black one. There are a lot of mercs and BMWs in white. I will be in the Whitley Bay Area mid August for a long weekend visiting relo's so I'm sorry if I add to the white population up there :nerd:

The benefit of white is that because its easy to see the bugs and tar,you can keep on top of keeping it clean. Its no problem removing the odd tar/bug marks as frequently as you wash your car.A darker colour the tar is still there you just can't see it.Ive also had a black car, never again.Great when new but any slight scratches show up in certain light.I know white is common now for GTI's but around my area anyway,I don't see many Gti's of any colour. All the money must be down south.

I am based in Bedfordshire, and drive a minimum of 500 miles per week and see very few GTi's either, lot more GTD's on the road owned by the penny pinchers and fleet drivers

Only see a handful of gti's around here and they're either black, CW or red.  Steel grey, that's classy too.

Sick to death of seeing white bmw's and mercs - so common

Candy White, it takes me no more than 5-10 min to clear all the flies/bugs off mine at the end of each day (summer mainly) with a good quick detailer like Meguiers quick detailer
