Best Colour

Hi Guys,

Am looking to buy a Mk6 Gti 5 door with full leather.....but cant make my mind up to which colour suits the Gti best
I am very keen on Candy White, but will be a nightmare to keep the front clean of flies!!!
And also keen on Carbon grey, which looks great when all polished up

Any comments feel free to give advice

Iv had black gti's for the last 15years or so. Iv spent so many hours polishing only to go out in the morning and find it ruined once the dew disappears, iv just brought candy white gti and I'm loving how easy it is to clean. Regarding the bugs many company's make a bug remover, I brought the autoglym product and its a quick spray then wipe all gone!

Not wanting to upset the previous poster here. My own personal view is because of round were I live there are loads of white GTIs I would go for the grey if it was me. I also like the way the grey blends in more and makes it look a bit more upmarket.  It also has some nice reflection qualitys when polished up, is an exclusive colour and would hide dirt ok.

Bit biased  but find the carbon grey easy to keep clean and looks great with the 18" wheels.

I'm a bit biased too but I also think a clean tornado red looks the nuts too!

TBH most colours look decent on the GTI.

I have CSG on my MK6.

I had a black MK5 and it looked decent when cleaned and polished but that didn't last long! Black shows up defects and swirls more so than other colours.

I think black looks by far the best, just a PITA to keep clean if you are OCD about how your cars look.

Not particularly keen on the Candy White as its a bit of a 'yellow' white, strange as we have one but it was my wife's choice not mine being her car.

I've had white grey and currently on my second black one grey is easiest to keep clean but they all suited the gti

Depends on how much time and effort you are willing to put in to keep it clean.

Can't go wrong with:

carbon grey - very classy
candy white easier to keep clean but there are loads around
red - classic gti colour
black - looks stunning (biased) when clean BUT lots and lots of  work to keep it looking clean

I'm on my third black gti, am a sucker for punishment

all great gti colours imo.
