My nak is a pain in the sack...

So I got a nakamichi cause I think it goes nice with the mk2 look and still delivers great sound. But at the moment it keeps turning off and on whilst I'm driving, anyone know why this may be?
 Recently got a headphone jack installed so I can play my phone and a charging port, could this be anything to do with it?

When you say turning off what is it doing? No sound or no power? It is possible its the jack plug just sitting between connected and not connected so as you go over a bump it connects

No power, then comes straight back on every time just turns it self off then comes back on.
I have checked connections, maybe I'll have to check again!
