Passenger door has dropped.....
« on: 28 June 2013, 12:45 »
.....ok I think I have located the source of the wind noise/draft problem that Ive been having.

It seems as if the passenger door has dropped slightly and isnt sitting flush with the rubber door seal.

Its the top bracket/hinge that has play in it and is allowing the door to hang slightly lower.

My question is - how do I fix it? Is it a case of finding a replacement hinge or can I undo it/re-align it?

Thanks for your help guys.

new hinge mate, some say you can do the pikey trick and put a jack under the door to bend it back, but it`ll only drop again

Cheers mate. I cant see how that would work though as it seems there is play in the top hinge as opposed to it being bent or anything.
