No you can boost the DSG up higher than the manual as the clutches are beefier and the DSG can be tuned also with its own ECU modifications (not seen these mods released yet - early days).
What surprised me was the fact the modified ECU still rated the PP 10PS higher than the standard GTI. That either spells that ABT are being conservative (typically German) about figures and just publishing a 'worst case' like VW do or there is something else in the PP (unlikely) that is responsible for the extra 10PS.
And then there were those reports the the PP diff (VAS?) could only handle 250 bhp. So the plot thickens!!
Oh, and the fact the two cars have different engine codes. Hmmmm....
