Some kind of electrical fault
« on: 18 June 2013, 21:38 »
I have this Loss of power at 3000rpm if I'm driving and hold the revs there the rev counter jerks about a bit and the engine sort of dies for a split second and then continues, the car doesn't cut out atall and idles fine and runs good. Had a problem with the timing recently but it's all sorted now.
Note when my engines running the oil temp sits in the 90s but when I turn it off and put the ignition on it jumps down about 10 degrees then I start it and itl jump straight back up again with no delay, maybe thinking this could be related ?

Is there a flat spot when going though that rev range in other gears?
