Colour aside, doesn't that car look odd without tints?

Didn't notice that before. Good spot! Still looks good though :)

This weekend I have seen pretty much every colour except the two silvers all in more door, surprise was the night blue which is rather nice and onyx white has something about it and carbon grey just does not disappoint

Carbon grey is pretty difficult to photograph but is easy to keep on top of than dpb, I have oth colours on the drive and mrs w will be going carbon grey on the mk7

Also got some proper German brochures for GTD and GTI which give pretty good colour indication on the swatches

I just love the details on the car, especially front fogs

Only two colours i seriously considered were white and carbon, i must say the GTD looks better in it than the GTI imo but as Bear says, which one could you live with?? I'm quite OCD when it comes to the car but i think the grey would've drove me nuts!! :D

Same, I don't think CSG suits the GTI with its red accents.  Looks much better on the GTD, but even then, as a secondary choice for me too, it's actually way down there relatively speaking!
