Ok ive been wanting to ask this question for a while.
People keep saying how good or how strong the revo map and similarmaps with similar output responces are.
But then you read the issues on all the websites about manual clutches cannot cope with the torque curve.
The replys are dont ride the torque

I find this to contradictory to the previous replys by owners.
In my mind as a design engineer a program is good if it is designed to work with all given parameters and uses. If not simply the program is poorly designed and not been tested correctly.
The car should be totally drivable and useable at ALL rpm and all levels and should take the clutch weekness into account.
Maybe people are too obsessed with numbers and ruller flat graphs.
Sorry but imo a revo map or similar from a personal point of view is a bad implimentaion of the hardware side of the project.
Maybe im just misunderstanding what im reading but this interpritation of what a good map and a weak map seems so messed up to me. Maybe I have it all wrong. Im not a mapper and this side of engineering is not my expertese and i would welcome someone to explain to me if im misunderstanding this.
