recirculating blow off valve???????

recived on in post today, just a cheapo, didnt come with ANY instructions or nothing. the valve itself and 2 springs (red,,yellow)  i aint got a clue as what to do basicly. do i put spring in it?? which one??...  fitting on car not a problem !!!   standard 1.8T    help please!

The forge colours are as follows:

Green - Standard
Yellow - Stage 1
Blue - Stage 2
Red - Stage 2+

No idea if the cheap one uses the same colours though. Is there a spring already fitted?

People very rarely go over the yellow springs though on the Forge at least
It should say on the manufacturer website what the springs are good for - measured in PSI - so yellow is something like 16-22 PSI

It does say supplied with 2 extra springs, so open it up chances are there is a green one inside, you just unscrew the top to change the spring, so you can fit it to the car and run it see how it is, if needed put the yellow one in.

as you don't have a remap then the standard spring will be fine (presuming you open it and there is a green one inside)

opened it. blue one inside. il give that a try

now put in yello. that doesnt seem to hard resistance to push down to fit back together

Id physically try and compress the springs in your hands then and get the softest one, if the spring is too strong it wont open the DV and fook your turbo
