i might stick the calibra injectors and vr6 maf in tomorrow and see how it runs, also fit the decat as looking at the symptoms, being cyl3 knocking first, it sounds exhaust gas temperature related.. :undecided:

You are logging too many channels, you only have a very limited bandwidth and are getting a really poor sample rate as a result. Gotta pick your channels.

Can't help you there i'm afraid, it's just you are taking a log of load then a log of the knock approx 0.4 seconds later, which is a lot of rpm on a WOT run. Also it's about a second between MAF readings, so you can easily miss a peak or a dip in value.

You can still conclude that you've got a knock problem from the data you have captured.

I use VCDS lite downloaded free from the Ross tech website. And a £7 ebay blue cable.
Seems to do everything I need but n75 duty.

I need to read up on the knocking and retarding logs. I don't quite understand it....

Sorry to hi-jack.
I have the exact same set up and I can not connect to the engine part. I know the cable works because I connected to the radio and a couple of other things, but not the engine.
Any ideas as to why ?

i think i may have found the cause of knock.. i just went and swapped my cat over for the decat and when i unplugged the lambda sensor, the plug was full of water  it looks like the seal has gone
im not sure if this would be the cause.. but its one of my guesses.. the fact the old cat was fitted might have been a cause  :undecided:

looks like its fixed, swapped the restrictive cat for the decat and it looks like a gain of 11bhp since last RR (i had to stop due to fuel starvation in this logging session) so when theres plenty of fuel in the tank i`ll do another.
knock looks like its gone too

i will do another knock log because i think the last one i did, i think i missed the point where i was actually accelerating judging by the time stamp  . not sure though
