why are you people wasting your money on them new golfs??? have you not read how disastrous the mk6 was with its cam chain tensioner failures. what makes you think this new one will be any better?
  does this mean if you had the money for 1 you wouldnt buy 1  :undecided:
not a chance in ell. vw have no idea how to build a durable car anymore. if I had the cash I would buy a Honda. but my mk2 will do me fine for the foreseeable future

A Honda    Yeah they might be bullet proof but bloody hell they are dull cars
how do you figure they are dull? do you find breaking down on the hard shoulder fun?

I'd rather break down on the hard shoulder in a GTI than be seen in a Civic or Jazz. Name me one exciting Honda? Not even the Type R is up to scratch nowadays, Honda ruined those by making them to fat and to slow not to mention fugly

You could have at least came up with a decent alternative to try and wind us up

Type Rs now drive like sh!te because they removed the multilink rear suspension from the latest gen to save money. Never liked the way you have to rev the nuts off them because they have no torque.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I agree with this. You always had to rev them hard to get the best out of the fat but the latest gen Type R's took that to a whole new level. Plus they're dated now, and the previous gen looked better anyway.
