My car has just gone to "in transit",now all i need is DVLA to pull their finger out on my number plate retention they have only had the paperwork for three weeks and are not even sure if they have received it  :angry:,does anyone do their job efficiently nowadays  :undecided:

Mine was turned around in 8 days! Posted on the monday and got it back the following tuesday, my dealer kept saying it can take up to 6 weeks! :rolleyes:

Have you sent it to Swansea or your local office?
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

got mine back about 14 days later as the form said at the time for me. Not supposed to get the v5c back until another 2 - 4 weeks but I got that at the same time, so I was pleasantly surprised by their efficiency!

They are closing all the satellite offices now though and operating online out of Swansea, so may be a little snowed under at the moment.

Inevitably my dealer is on hols till Monday. Admin say they will email with reg number when available. Couldn't be bothered telling them number transfer etc. will wait till Monday and talk to 'Dane'

Dealer is doing it,says he sent it to he local office where they check it first then send it on.ITs been three weeks and one day
