With regard to tyres it depends on the type of driving, but I've read that the M135i uses a soft compound which means you'll be replacing them much more often than if you had the GTI.

I'm expecting to get similar mileage out of the new GTI as my previous car(s) with 18's (long journeys - lots of motorway miles), around 25-30k fronts / 40-45k rears. I think you'll struggle to get anywhere near that with the (hard to find?) BMW tyre.

Bl0ody hell, I was lucky to get 15k out of my last GTI  :shocked:

Mine changed from 3 weeks to 10 days on Monday morning (26th) and has now changed to this just now!!!! :smiley: I'm surprised how quickly things move along once the car is built... Happy Days!!!

 :grin: Cheers fella's.... I'm quite surprised myself. I've got a funny feeling it arrived in the UK last week as I had originally anticipated, but there must have been a delay with the processing due to the Bank Holiday weekend.

I noticed there weren't any boats leaving Emden on Monday, so it must have been last week.

Hey guys, I'm BW33, and this morning mine changed to In Transit. But says on average it takes 4 weeks to arrive at the dealer, that's it. So in what part/where do you see the countdown on? Is it at the bottom? So hopefully my text will change over time to an eta?
