I'm almost certain our cars are sat on the dockside at Sheerness! The flamin buggers have probably fecked off on holiday as its a Bank Holiday weekend.

VWCS had confirmed that I would either take delivery of the car either the last week of August or the first week of September. I know there's been a lot of BS flying around, but their predictions have been accurate up to now.

I'm still hanging onto the hope I'll take delivery of the car 1st week September.

I'm hoping I'm just a week behind you. Mine went 'In Transit' yesterday. Was expecting the keys third week of September.

Saw a 3dr white GTI on the road today that looked special. Pound for pound these are he best cars on the road.

My week 33 is arriving via grimsby according to my dealer. It would be great to know how often the ships leave from Emden.

'AUTORUNNER' seems to do the Emden > Grimsby trip. (It's in Grimsby now). If you have a look on www.marinetraffic.com you can find the vessels and see the expected arrivals by port :)

Has anyone else noticed this, but in the "In Transit" stage it has now changed to 10 days???

i.e. "On average it takes 10 days from build for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer"....

I'm sure it use to state 3 weeks??? Might be just imagining things???
