So, Who else's GTi is in Transit? - Update Now In UK

Like a lot of you on here, been doing a bit of tracking myself using MarineTraffic.com website.

Its a bit hit and miss, but my BW32 order went into transit on Thursday 15th August and since then Ive been checking all Vehicle Carrier departures from Emden to Sheerness. Low and behold ones just left Emden today ("AUTORUNNER") bound for Sheerness due to arrive tomorrow (Wednesday 21st August ETA 13:00).

This tallies with what VWCS confirmed, so Im keeping my fingers crossed my order is on that boat.

If it's not on AUTORUNNNER I managed to find a schedule online ealier (don't have the link on this machine) that said that AUTOPRESTIGE leaves Emden for Sheerness tomorrow

Yesterday morning my BW32 order was showing in transit, and in the afternoon it had changed to into UK

There's been almost nothing going from Emden to port of Tyne for the last week and forseeable for next week. Not sure whether there's enough cars wanting to go to Tyne for Sept delivery to justify a direct sailing - there seems a fair few ships going to Tyne from Sheerness. Irrelevant in either case because my BW33 car has not even been started yet.

Nope!!!  if it makes you feel any better mate mine went into transit on the 15th and its still showing "In Transit"! I was hoping it had arrived in Sheerness last Wednesday/Thursday and my status had changed to "Arrived in the UK"... No such luck. No further update from dealer as well. They said they would phone as soon as it arrived in the UK?

I wonder if it's a tracker issue?... Some seem to have said that it still said 'in transit' when they'd picked the car up.

Dealer said they were expecting it to arrive with them this week. No idea if that will actually happen or not.

Wasn't that before the new tracker though?  I've found the new one quite accurate as mine has gone through build to the dealer.

Yeah I think it was the old one. The next Emden > Sheerness I can see isn't until Saturday 

Wonder if it's sat at Sheerness 'not checked in' or whatever the process is...
