Mine is DBP, so could make sense I guess.
The demand for white is very high I suppose.

As for the build delays and the likelihood of the while paint issue, I do seem to remember with the Scirocco it was the actual supply of paint that caused a delay, so supplier rather than factory related. Or ordering rather then manufacturing? Or something...
