Haha, sounds like an experience to be had!   My wife's just got so little confidence behind the wheel that I'm a nervous wreck for different reasons, so generally I'll do the majority of the driving!

I wish mine was the same in a way. She's actually not a bad driver (ish)... but so aggressive, if someone pulls out in front of her at any distance she decides isn't acceptable she basically floors it and sits on their ass. We might do the same, but when she does it it's like 3 inches behind, it's truly terrifying if you're in the car at the time.

Looks like us BW33 TRers are still waiting on build (maybe they've been started over the weekend? ).

Can't remember what happened with my dad's in relation to the tracker status. Is "in transit" designated as soon as the car is through final checks, on it's way to Emden, Waiting at Emden for a ship, or not until actually on a ship?

Not sure whether to politely but strongly  have some words of criticism for VW UK tomorrow (and ask directly about goodwill gestures) if my car hasn't even been started yet in what will be day 3 of BW35.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Oh I'm sure we all have our moments on the road, but if there is one thing I cannot stand, it's tailgating!  My wife's not "too" bad on the open road to be fair, she is just a bit hesitant at times, but has no spatial awareness whatsoever when it comes to maneuvers!

I feel some people are more emotional than logical.  The seem to think that position and speed are things you need to get roughly right most of the time rather than exactly right all the time.  It's possible there is a degree of correlation with those of the female persuasion.

My wife will frequently manoeuvre then signal.  It's like the signal is added afterwards in a kind of "ha, almost forgot it that time" kind of way!  Swerving across lanes while talking is not considered to be a problem as long as there is a swerve back.  Accelerating and braking are relatively random and accelerating will often occur even when faced with brake lights that we are rapidly gaining on.  There is little to no understanding of when cutting up other drivers on roundabouts...

About 1 in 2 journeys results in me silently swearing to do ALL the driving in future!

Only 1 in 2 Bear?!   You are a very tolerant man, your wife is lucky!  I just told my wife after 3 journeys with her that in future I'll drive when we are together.  To be fair she's cool with it anyway and would rather sit back and be chauffeured about....  Ummm, actually, she did it on purpose didn't she?!

Yeah sounds likely.  They've outsmarted us without us even realising it!

Yup, suckered right into that one.  I'd best not mention it though, might cause a domestic!
