« on: 06 June 2013, 21:00 »
Hi I have had my gti for about 3 weeks and noticed when u accelerate u get boost and then about 3000 rpm I get a wooshh like a dump valve is going off but got a standard recric and loose boost if I keep my foot planted it picks up slowly. If I chance gear I get boost again than does same again. Any ideas anyone?

I keep getting engine man light on and coming on with lamda sensor. I got told its mapped but not to sure. It doesn't feel that fasted. I have had a look around pipes but canrt see out really.

Then its most likely in limp mode

Yes scan it. Constant driving limp mode aint good. So if becomes obvious by the fault code what it is then sort it bud before cause damage other bits

Use rosstech faults code page bit description on what codes are

Cheers pal. I get lamda sensor sorted that's what I am getting. And fuel trim fault code not sure if that's something to do with lamda.
