Anybody else's car still not showing up on the VW 'Track My Order' website?

There is definitely a trend that Ireland & Scotland are getting orders before us chaps in England - boo! 

I Specifically asked Lisa about this trend and was assured it must be coincidence. Still think dealer allocation is the dominant effect on lead times but as we have builds assigned the may be some shuffling to optimise the factory?

Well I am from Northern Ireland and ordered from the biggest dealer in Belfast and my order is still 'processing'.

My order has just appeared on the 'Track my Order' website as "Processing"....

However, I have chosen Lane Assist as an optional extra at my dealer. Does this mean the order will not get past processing? Has anyone confirmed that the new GTI can not get Lane Assist as i'm sure they're was a post of someone who had it on their GTI in Germany... very confusing this one!

If not i'm gonna have to trade it for Dynaudio

It's shocking, SHOCKING, that this is a problem they know about and are dealing with other unhappy customers... yet they still have orders on their system they apparently haven't fixed weeks later!  Did they not send a memo to all dealers immediately this became apparent? Are people ordering lane assist on new orders even now? Wow.

It's a VW screw up so don't let them fob you off and bump your order back, make it clear you want it confirmed exactly what effect this will have on lead time and make sure they get real information from Germany and don't just say its fine only to then revise your BW backwards a few weeks later...

Cheers mate. All cleared up now. Been put back into the difficult decision of which extras to get instead of the Lane Assist now...what is wrong with the configurations, seriously.

Am I right in understanding that the Colour MFD is standard on the GTI yet for some reason still an option in the configurator? Along with Lane Assist, that's two optional extras we can choose but can't have! :/

Yep, colour MFD is standard.

Carbon Grey has now appeared on the list of colours !!
and Lane Assist is longer there!

That's awesome - I can finally configure the car I have ordered.  VW seem to getting their stuff together - next thing you know we will all have confirmed BW's.....
