Anybody else's car still not showing up on the VW 'Track My Order' website?

Ordered 17 April, fairly basic spec

... build week 40

which means November delivery?!!!

This is exactly what I think is going on.  Its not the spec that is the problem.  We don't see anything like 'all DSG orders arriving later' etc... what we see is that depending on what dealer you go to (i.e. depending how many orders they have placed already) there is a bigger or smaller delay.

EDIT:
Incidentally, with a BW 40 you will have been waiting 34+ weeks.  Even if we are nice and start the clock running at wk22 that is still 18+ weeks, probably 20.  So when they say 20 weeks is the absolute maximum that is, shall we say, "optimistic" as well.

Pah, we're in for the long haul on this... well, some of us are!

With any luck those of us that are having to wait so long might have a few less niggles cos they'll have had ages to sort them out!!

Moved to BW confirmed this morning  I think im one of the few who has struck lucky with their dealership. Everything they have said so far had been pretty much spot on

Great news!  Does that correspond with you being given a BW of 27?!

I wonder whether there are any patterns to be gleaned from anyone who's had a significant bump to their order in the last few weeks. There are still people here getting their BW26/27 orders seemingly going through on time, and at varying specs.

As both me and my dad have ordered Tornado Red and both have been bumped back to week 33 (+7 weeks for me, +3 weeks for my dad), I wondered whether the colour had anything to do with it.

Supply issues with Tornado Red paint (sounds ridiculous to me too!)? Are the recently delayed orders all of a certain colour?

I'm getting less enthusiastic about my order on a daily basis.

I'll let you know next week when my TR order is supposed to switch over to BW confirmed!

Yes seems to correspond to BW27. I still can't understand why some orders are going through quicker than others. I ordered on 6th May, way behind some others on here and yet (touch wood) I've been lucky so far. I genuinely feel for those who ordered way before me and are being quoted some ridiculous lead in times.

Do you think it's anything to do with where you live because orders in Ireland and Scotland appear to be getting processed quicker??

I have a theory, it might be due to Germany getting stuffed by the Yanks in the football. Entire workforce gone off in a huff?

Hi All,

Until about an hour ago my order was showing up as processing, now it’s showing up as "Sorry, we can't find this order number. Please check your order tracking card and try again or contact your retailer. “I am really hoping that this means it’s about to show up as build week confirmed 

Last time I spoke to my dealer last Friday he said estimated build week 28, which I think is 5 weeks away on Monday.

Phil, BW28 is 4 weeks from Monday - so you should be seeing your BW move to confirmed anytime up until this time next week (like me  )
