although I might wait until the wife gets fed up with using the key first (and then get her to pay someone to fit it  :lipsrsealed:)

Get the plug and play loom the company sell for about £16 and it just plugs in the pump no cuting wires its a 15 second instal that way !

Only have to swap the lock / unlock wires over as the loom is wired wrong

Strange that you say that as I bought the plug and play wiring and didnt need to swap anything?

My loom was wrong so lock button unlocked the car and unlock locked it !

But had mine ages they may have sorted it
