white smoke ??

hi guy for some reason when starting my car up in the morning i get white smoke but when driving about i have none but hen come to a stand still with the engine ticking the white smoke returns i went to a garage and they replaced the wiring loom to the injecters but hasnt sorted it any idears cheers

I think the odd wisp of white smoke in the winter is condensation.
.could be the same for your start up issues...
But not sure on your ticking over issue..

Boost leak? Shuddering could be a pipe popping off momentarily.

Is it a 150? Whats the mileage?

Have the cam and followers been replaced?

EDIT - any of these symptoms apply to you?

try shell vpower for a bit that will clean it up loads, plus u will get more mpg lol

I would suspect an iffy injector. White smoke on a diesel usually means unburnt fuel. Either that or get a compression test done, smoke should disappear when engine hits temp.
