Seat fitment help
« on: 05 May 2013, 13:23 »
Ok I am picking my new mk3 up at the weekend.
I have a set of Toledo seats half leather ready to go on.
They are from an R reg same reg as the golf I'm getting.
After a search on the net I think Toledo seats have the same base as the mk2 golf.

Can somebody please post a pic up of a mk3 golf seat base. Please so I can see. I can't bloody remember what they look like lol.

This is the base from the seats in question.

MK2 and MK3 are different. I know this coz my mate wanted to put some MK3 highline leather seats in his MK2, but he had to swap the runners over.

So if the Toledo seats same as MK2, then some modification is required for them to fit in a MK3.

Ah sweet cheers dude. Got a feeling the mk3 seat base has one of the runner arms that bends out different to the other one.
