Hi man, i was wondering whether you like how Eibach springs make the car ride compared to before that.  I was thinking of this mod myself but didn't know of anyone who has them on their gti until now.
Wife's: mk8 TSI 1.4 RL, 5dr atlantic blue, DSG, Norfolk 17", pan s/r, leds
Now: mk7.5 TSI 1.4 RL, 5dr tornado red, DSG, Singapore 17", pan s/r, leds
Before: mk6 GTI 5dr candy white, DSG, Monza Shadow 18", s/r, bi-Xenons, DCC
Even before that: mk5 GT 5dr tornado red, manual, s/r

I'd say slightly harder but not too hard.  I still have the standard shocks but others have changed theirs.  Great round corners as there is less roll.  I have to be slightly careful with speed-bumps when the car is full - but that might just be the mud flaps.
